What is PATHWAYS™?
Every Host Opens Another Discovery.
PATHWAYS™ begins with one simple belief.
Life isn’t only about where we’re going.
It’s also about what we discover along the way.
Think of Prineville Central as your community starting point. Like asking a friendly local where to begin exploring, Prineville Central helps guide you toward the many PATHWAYS™ Hosts throughout our community.
A Host may be a locally owned business, museum, restaurant, community organization, park, historic landmark, or another place with a story to share. Inside participating Hosts, you’ll discover an Official PATHWAYS™ Marker. Every marker opens another opportunity to connect.
You may discover local history… Experience Prineville’s heritage… Meet another nearby Host…Support a community cause… Attend a local activity… Or perhaps uncover a surprise giveaway, gift certificate, gift basket, or special promotion. No two discoveries are exactly alike. That’s what PATHWAYS™ is all about.
Every Host is more than a destination. It’s an invitation to continue exploring. Whenever you visit a PATHWAYS™ Host… Look for the Official PATHWAYS™ Marker. Scan it. Your next discovery is waiting.

If you arrived here after scanning a QR code or from a link, you’ve already taken the first step on a new community journey.
PATHWAYS™ is a community-wide discovery experience built around the Hosts, places, stories, and connections that make Prineville unique.
Begin at Prineville Central, your community starting point, where you’ll choose a PATHWAY™ that matches your interests.
From there, visit one of our participating PATHWAYS™ Hosts. A Host may be a locally owned business, museum, nonprofit organization, community destination, or historic location. This is how you find a business. Once inside the location, you’ll discover an Official PATHWAYS™ Marker waiting to be scanned.
Every marker opens another discovery. You may uncover local history…
Explore community heritage…
Meet another nearby Host business…
Learn about a local cause…
Find an upcoming activity…
Or perhaps discover a surprise gift certificate, giveaway, or special offer.
No two PATHWAYS™ are exactly alike.
That’s what makes every visit a new adventure.
Every Host welcomes you.
Every scan begins another discovery.
Every PATHWAY™ creates another connection.
Welcome to Prineville…
…the home of PATHWAYS™.
Enjoy the journey.
