Prineville Craft Beer Guide | Best Beer Stops in 2026

Prineville's craft beer scene is thriving. From Wild Ride Brewing to Corral Tap Room, Jeff Fox shares his favorite Beer Stops in Central Oregon.

There’s something about a Central Oregon day – the dry air, the sunshine, the wide-open spaces – that
naturally leads you toward a cold craft beer. I’ve spent a lot of time exploring the region, and while Bend
and Redmond helped put Central Oregon on the craft beer map, Prineville has quietly carved out its own
lane with what I like to call “Beer Stops.”

As breweries expanded, they needed places to pour, share, and distribute their craft. That’s where
taprooms and taphouses came in creating laid-back, welcoming spaces to enjoy great beer without the
need for a full brewery operation. Prineville embraced that concept, and today, it’s one of the most
enjoyable small-town beer discovery experiences around.

Here are a few of my favorite Beer Stops in Prineville:

Taprooms & Taphouses

this a go-to spot to settle in and stay awhile. Great indoor-outdoor vibe.

One of my favorite places in Prineville. The lunches and dinners are becoming legendary, and their growing beer taps and creative drink mixology is what sets them apart.
  • Cadillac’s Bar & Grill
410 N. Main St, Prineville, OR
This is opening soon. I took an early tour and it’s setting up to be a lively, fun, and a great place to catch a game or downtown festivities while enjoying a cold craft beer and classic food cart fare.
  • Crossroads BBQ & Brew
121 NE 3rd St, Prineville, OR
    541-447-3335
    www.crossroadsdinerandpub.com
Big flavors and bold barbecue paired with a strong beer selection. A great stop when you’re hungry and thirsty. This location, indoors, Oregon Lottery, smack in the center of town.
A row of six decorative beer taps on a metallic wall, each uniquely designed, with a frothy dark beer in a glass mug labeled Corral below.

What I love most is how spread out and accessible these spots are—you can easily make an afternoon or
evening out of exploring them. Each one offers a slightly different take, but all share the same Central
Oregon spirit.

So when you’re in the region, take the time to discover a few Beer Stops. And if you find yourself in
Prineville, you’ll quickly see—it’s not just catching up to the craft beer scene… it’s fully part of it.

Stacks of beer cans in cardboard boxes feature vibrant designs and flavors. A sign reads “Case Specials” with various beers and prices listed, conveying a promotional, inviting atmosphere.
