Buying or selling real estate is rarely just about a house, a piece of land or a number on a contract.
It’s often about what comes next.
For Realtor Nancy Kramer, that means taking time to understand the people involved, the property in front of them and the decisions that may shape where life goes from there.
Licensed in real estate since 2007, Nancy’s experience began in Coos County, Oregon. Life with her husband and his active-duty Coast Guard career later took them from the West Coast to the East Coast, including time in Virginia, before her pathway eventually brought her back to Central Oregon.
Today, Nancy is part of Root & Branch Realty Group and focuses primarily on residential properties and land in Prineville and the surrounding Central Oregon area. But what may matter most isn’t simply what Nancy knows. It’s how she approaches the people who trust her to use that knowledge.
Real Estate Is Personal. Nancy Treats It That Way.
A real estate transaction can involve finances, family, timing, uncertainty and some fairly significant decisions.Nancy believes honesty and integrity belong in the middle of all of them.
Her approach isn’t about forcing a property to fit a buyer or pushing a transaction toward the finish line simply because a transaction is possible. It’s about listening, asking questions, examining the details and helping people make decisions they can feel comfortable making. That makes relationship-building an important part of working with Nancy.
Sometimes the right property is obvious. Sometimes finding the right fit takes a little more exploring. And sometimes good guidance includes being willing to say, “Let’s look at this more carefully.”
A Real Estate PATHWAY™ Is About More Than Finding an Address
Finding the property may be the reason someone begins looking at Prineville. But finding the property isn’t necessarily where discovery ends. Where will you buy groceries? Where’s the closest cup of coffee? What recreation is nearby? Where will the kids play?
What businesses will become familiar? What history surrounds the area? What will you discover downtown? And eventually, which people and places will make a new community begin feeling like home?
That’s where Nancy Kramer’s real estate experience and Welcome to Prineville’s PATHWAYS™ can naturally intersect. Nancy can help you explore where you might live. PATHWAYS™ can help you discover what’s waiting around it.
One property can lead to a neighborhood. One neighborhood can lead to a business.
One business can lead to a story, a trail, a restaurant, a cause, an event—or simply another reason to explore.
Finding a property can be one pathway.
Discovering your place within the community can become another.

Finding the right property starts with understanding where you want to go.
Nancy Kramer has been helping buyers and sellers navigate real estate since 2007. Today, she brings that experience home to Prineville, with particular knowledge of residential property, bare land, and Juniper Canyon—where she lives herself.
Nancy believes real estate is personal. She listens, helps you understand your options, and brings in additional expertise when the property calls for it.

When choosing a local guide, Nancy is a solid choice.
Looking at Juniper Canyon? Talk With Someone Who Lives There
Land can look simple from the road. It rarely is. Nancy Kramer doesn’t simply work with properties in the Juniper Canyon area—she lives there.
That gives her a personal familiarity with an area just outside Prineville that combines rural residential living, acreage, open space and the realities that can accompany buying land outside a traditional city neighborhood.
Nancy is comfortable working with bare land and understands the importance of investigating zoning and land-use considerations before assuming a property will accommodate what a buyer has in mind. That’s especially valuable in an area like Juniper Canyon.
Crook County planning documents identify Juniper Canyon as a rural residential area, and individual properties can involve different zoning, parcel sizes, access, wells, septic systems and other development considerations. In other words, two pieces of Central Oregon dirt aren’t necessarily interchangeable just because they look similar from the road.
If you’re considering a home, acreage or bare land in Juniper Canyon, Nancy brings something particularly useful to the conversation:
Professional real estate experience combined with the perspective of someone who calls the area home herself.
Knowing When Another Expert Belongs in the Conversation
Here’s another differentiator we really like. Experience doesn’t mean pretending to know everything.
Nancy’s primary focus is residential property and land. When a client’s needs move into specialized farm and ranch, commercial or industrial real estate, she’s comfortable drawing upon the experience within Root & Branch Realty Group rather than trying to force every transaction into her own lane.
Principal brokers Joe and Kara Becker are part of that internal resource. Root & Branch’s broader team works across residential, commercial, farm and ranch, recreational land and other Central Oregon property types. The brokerage explicitly describes collaboration rather than internal competition as part of its model.
The objective isn’t for Nancy to be everything to everybody. It’s helping the person in front of her find the right expertise for where they’re trying to go.
Experience Built Along More Than One Path
Nancy’s real estate career began in 2007 in Coos County, Oregon. She later spent a short period with Keller Williams Realty and was previously affiliated with RE/MAX Out West before joining several fellow real estate professionals who moved into the newly established Root & Branch Realty Group.
Her own life has included relocation as well. Her husband’s active-duty Coast Guard career took the couple across the country, including time in Virginia.
We think that’s more relevant than it might initially appear. Someone relocating doesn’t experience real estate simply as a transaction. You’re learning new roads. New neighborhoods. New services. New routines. New people.
You’re trying to determine not only: “Could I live in this house?” but eventually: “Could I build a life here?”
Nancy has experienced some of that movement herself.
Trust Carries Beyond Real Estate
Nancy also serves as a Notary Public.
The role fits naturally alongside something Nancy already places at the center of her real estate work: accuracy, responsibility and trust.
