Rockin’ CC Classic Youth Livestock Event

May 9-10, 2026. Rockin’ CC Classic didn’t begin in an arena, it started in a backyard during COVID. What began as a small, grassroots gathering has grown into a standout event at the Crook County Fairgrounds, now welcoming youth ages 3 to 21 from across Central Oregon, throughout the state, and even beyond.

Today, competitors step into the ring to showcase their skills in livestock showmanship, competing in “jackpot” classes for steer, heifer, hog, goat, and sheep. By the end of the weekend, hard work is recognized with buckles, ribbons, and well-earned pride. Around the event, you’ll find vendors, professional judges, and even complimentary photography – capturing moments that these young participants and their families will carry with them for years.

Beyond the arena, Rockin’ CC Classic has become a meaningful contributor to the local economy, drawing visitors for a full weekend of activity. But what makes this event truly special is how it continues to grow – built on the support of local businesses and the community that believe in what it represents.

Rockin’ CC Classic is a natural fit within the Take Cause and Connect™ program, creating a direct connection between local businesses and a youth-driven community event.

As a Cause Connect™ opportunity, the event allows businesses to align their support with something visible, meaningful, and community centered. Through the directory network, those connections are amplified – linking sponsoring businesses directly to the event across multiple platforms and pages.

This creates a shared benefit:
• Youth receive the support they need to participate and succeed
• Businesses gain year-round visibility tied to a positive community impact
• The community strengthens through collaboration and shared investment

It’s a simple concept with lasting impact—connect support where it matters most.
