Ron Hemphill is a Prineville-based country gospel singer, songwriter, and minister whose life and music are rooted in faith, family, and service. With over five decades of marriage to his wife Paula and a growing family of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, his story is one of commitment both at home and in ministry.
After serving in the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic, his path led him to Oregon—where a personal faith journey would ultimately shape the direction of his life. What began with a simple guitar and a few chords grew into a calling, leading him into worship teams, bands, and eventually a lifelong dedication to gospel music and ministry.
Since answering that call, he has recorded eight albums, with multiple songs reaching the Top 100 Country Gospel charts, including several Top 10 hits and three #1 songs. His music has carried him across 48 states, multiple continents, and over 20 countries, sharing messages of hope, faith, and redemption through both original songs and timeless gospel classics.
In addition to his music ministry, he has served as a lead pastor in Prineville for over 40 years, becoming one of the longest-serving pastors in the community’s history. His work continues today through live performances, worship services, and touring appearances at churches and faith-based events.
Through every song and every message, his mission remains the same—to use the gift of music to reach others, encourage faith, and share the message that God still cares.
