Take Cause and Connect™ | Supporting Prineville, OR

Warren Buffer's Take Cause and Connect™ program unites Prineville businesses and nonprofits — making community support visible, meaningful, and lasting.

In a town like Prineville, community isn’t just a word – it’s something you see in the people, the businesses, and the way neighbors show up for one another. From local storefronts and trades to home-based businesses, there’s a shared understanding here: when one part of the community grows stronger, we all do.

That’s where Take Cause and Connect™ comes in.

This program, developed through Warren Buffers Living Services, is built to bring local businesses and nonprofit causes together in a way that’s visible, meaningful, and lasting. It’s not just about support, it’s about connection, recognition, and community impact.

Prineville cause and connect for communities

How It Works in Prineville

Local businesses – whether they’re a contractor, retailer, professionals, boutique, a store, or a home-based service – are featured across a network of regional directories, including Welcome to Prineville. Each business receives multiple “SNAPSHOT” pages that help extend their visibility online.

At the same time, nonprofit organizations and community programs join the network and receive their own SNAPSHOT page—highlighting their mission, needs, and opportunities for support.

When a business chooses to support a cause, the connection is made visible.

  • The business becomes recognized as a Cause Stop™ location—a place the community knows supports local causes
  • The organization is featured within the Cause Connect™ network, making it easy for others to discover and engage
  • Both are linked together through mini snapshot features, allowing the public to learn more, explore, and even donate

It’s simple, but powerful: support becomes visible, and visibility builds momentum.

Cause and connect is working for many communities

Real Community Impact

Imagine a local park and recreation nonprofit working hard to ensure that every child has access to youth sports—regardless of financial hardship. Through Take Cause and Connect™, they can connect with local businesses willing to pledge support, helping fund scholarships so no kid is left out of the game.

Or consider a local senior center working to sustain its Meals on Wheels program. With rising costs, additional support is critical. By joining the Cause Connect™ network, they gain visibility and access to businesses that want to give back—helping ensure seniors continue to receive meals and connection, such as with a local Senior Center in Prineville.

These are examples of real local needs. And now, there’s a clear path to meet them.

Community Street Moment

Why It Matters

Today, people care about where they spend their money and what those businesses stand for. When a business is identified as a Cause Stop™, it sends a message: this is a place that gives back.

For organizations, it means more than exposure—it means building relationships that lead to ongoing support.

For the community, it creates something even bigger: a network of visible goodwill.

A Better Way to Build Community

Take Cause and Connect™ isn’t complicated. It’s intentional.

It recognizes that:
• Businesses want to give back
• Nonprofits need support
• Communities thrive when connections are made

And in Prineville, those connections are already part of who we are.
This program simply brings them to light.

Cause. Connect. Grow.

Because when support is visible, it inspires more of it.
And when businesses and causes come together, Prineville moves forward—together.
