Pack the Car. Central Oregon Drives Never Felt So Good.

Prineville: We’re Worth the Trip.
Road Trippin Central Oregon
Day Trippin’ events can be for locals or regional community folks seeking a little break from the norm. Why Prineville? Less than an hour drive. Slower paced. Lots of history. Abundant recreation, merchants and leisure opportunity. Let us start you off with a downtown day trip.
Town Trippin’
Start your day with a coffee and pastry at Golden Coffee Co. while sharing conversation with your traveling group. Head on foot over to the nearby Crook County Courthouse (you’ll feel the reason inside). It’s a block down to catch The Bowman Museum (also a VIPee stop location) and a chance to tour the Belknap House Exhibit Center. Across the street, is a must-have lunch from Dad’s Place Diner. Can’t head home without souvenirs, two blocks west on 3rd Street are The Pink Poppy and Sweet Willow Co. gift stores. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to walk off lunch, head two more blocks to Fae Fire Shop. Make your own candle right here in Prineville! Can’t beat this day!
