Wildland Firefighter Foundation – Oregon Chapter Prineville

National Support, Local Impact for Firefighters and Families

High Points

The Wildland Firefighter Foundation (WFF) is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to supporting wildland firefighters and their families when it matters most. Through its presence in Oregon and strong ties to the Prineville Chapter and Central Oregon – that mission takes on a direct, local impact.

The foundation provides critical assistance to firefighters injured in the line of duty, as well as to the families of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. While the reach is national, the support is deeply personal – felt right here in our communities through local events, partnerships, and outreach.

In Central Oregon, including Prineville, that connection is strengthened through grassroots involvement. Community-led fundraising efforts and events help ensure that resources are available when needed, while also honoring the service and sacrifice of those on the front lines.

Wildland firefighting is demanding, unpredictable, and essential. Through the combined strength of a national foundation and local community support, the Wildland Firefighter Foundation continues to stand behind those who protect our landscapes and our lives.
